If you haven’t heard by now that braids are really hot this spring/summer you may just be living under a rock. No matter where you turn, or what magazine you flip through, countless styles of braids are being sported by celebrities, models, fashionistas and hipsters alike.

Some are of the opinion that braids should be reserved for school girls and milkmaids only – they have no place in a mature, stylish woman’s life. I whole heartedly disagree. Sure, if overdone, braids can look childish or like you should be off yodeling in the alps, but if done right, they can add that playful yet sophisticated touch to a summery ‘do!

“This is a must-do trend for simple, summer styling,” says Associate Stylist Sandra. “And the messier the better… There is no wrong way to braid!”

Here are some of my favourite braids that you can try this summer, be it an updo for a special occasion or just a day in the sun. I think any doubters will be silenced.

9.customise.think creatively about how you can jazz up your clothes to make them uniquely you.dyes,patches,buttons, and bows can be a cheap way to super- styledom.

10.pick a role model or a style icon-a celeb,a singer,even a big sister!

This is the perfect sea inspired style to wear at the beach and is easy enough for you to do it yourself. For a messier look, leave your natural texture or apply some mousse and gel to give it some texture then separate the hair using just your fingers. For a smoother braid, make sure hair is brushed out and keep it smooth as you are braiding.  Note: If keeping it smooth, it is best to use dirty hair for better hold.  Here is a short video that shows you step by step how to create this look.

Tie-dye DIY jeans (bleach)

Tie-dye is back in a big way. Here's how to create the pattern, but with bleach instead of dye. All you need is a bucket, bleach, thick rubber bands/ties, and rubber gloves.

To begin, fill your bucket with one part bleach to two parts water. Next, wrap the thick rubber bands all over your jeans. Wherever you place a band, that area will remain the same color as the denim. When you have all the bands set, submerge your jeans in the bucket. Make sure to use the rubber gloves when touching the bleach mixture.

Check your jeans every 15 minutes to monitor the bleached spots. When it reaches the color you desire, remove your jeans from the bucket, cut the bands, and wash them in the washing machine alone.

Jazz up your jeans!!

Here are a few ways to totally jazz up your jeans:
BLEACH  BLUES-
You will need:bleach pen(available at Grocery stores or where you buy your laundry supplies),paper towels,old news paper,and of course,and old or boring pair of jeans to work on.

Step 1:cover your workstation with newspaper and then lay your jeans on your work surface.

Step 2:squeeze the bleach gel onto the pockets or bottom hems of your jeans in dots,swirls or flower Shapes.let the gel sit for 20-30 minutes.

Step 3:gently dab off the gel using paper towels.

Step 4:let the jeans dry for three hours and then throw them in the washing machine.

After getting washed and dried,your bleach design jeans are ready to rock!!!

FINE LINE-
You will need:pair of jeans,sheet or sand paper.

Sandpaper gives denim a faded look.use a thin strip of the sand paper,and create fine horizontal lines (sometimes called a whisker effect)on the thigh area of the jeans.

Stuck with a cute but simple outfit?all you need to do is:
1.if the outfit is funky-
Put on a number of bracelets,of all colors and sizes.this will give an "insta gorgeous" effect to the outfit.you could also put on some friendship bands instead  of or with the bracelets.simple,but oh so effective.

2.if your outfit is super-cute,but still looks simple and you are in need to look special-
Just add something different.like a hairstyle not much people do but looks good on you.or just a plain necklace could also make it look fabulous.

Easy and sweet for a slightly girly look

How to achieve?easy!all you need is a floral cotton top with short or half sleeves,a mini skirt(or any skirt just above your knees)and the normal everyday black slacks.the top should be of a light Color and the skirt needs to be either grey or black or navy blue and with a good flair.the slacks should look good only if they are 3/4  (kind of the ones that end at your ankles) or end just at/Below the knee.if they are full length,you can always pull them up.

And as for the hairstyle,either let it down loose or you could tie it up in a side ponytail.you could also add up a big flower clip to add more glamour.as for footwear,you could wear flats which match the Color of your outfit or or if you have,wedge heels with floral prints or the same Color of your outfit.and,belly's won't be a bad choice either.

WARNING:if the temperature is high,don't leave your hair loose,they might get totally messed up because of the sweat.
